Kaua‘i High School’s chorus will host its annual fall concert at 7 p.m. Oct. 21 and 22 at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall.
The chorus will perform “Where the river meets the sea,” featuring the chorus and the Kaua‘i High Singers.
Musical numbers will include selections from “The Little Mermaid,” “Titanic: A New Musical,” Beach Boys Medley, “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Sea Chanteys” and more.
Various pieces from the repertoire were chosen to honor the memory of David Conrad, the high school’s longtime chorus teacher who died in August.
Proceeds will help chorus students travel to O‘ahu for the Hawai‘i All-State High School Honor Choir and to Honolulu to experience Hawai‘i Opera Theatre’s production of “Carmen” by Georges Bizet in late February.
Advance tickets for adults are $7; $5 for students and senior citizens. The price at the door will be $8 and $6, respectively. Children 11 years and under get in free.
Tickets can be purchased from all chorus students as well as at Kaua‘i High School’s office.
