A fish plate for $3 is the starting point when doors open to a unique fundraiser for the Kapa‘a Warriors basketball team Saturday.
Kapa‘a basketball coach Philip Baclayon is sending out the call to “all garage sale addicts” to this furniture sale which will be held at Rosa’s Storage in the Arzadon Industrial Center in Kapa‘a.
Proceeds from this sale will benefit the Kapa‘a High School boys basketball program, Baclayon said in a press release.
In addition to the fish plate, which is the most inexpensive item, other items include pillows, a dishwasher, lamps, a small refrigerator, and an assortment of tables with prices in the $5 to $15 range.
Medium refrigerators go for $20 and a 19-inch TV is tagged for $25. A 42-inch TV is just $5 more.
Additionally, any purchase of $20 or more will earn the customer a free item equal in value to the most expensive item purchased.
