Kauai Senior golfers lower age eligibility
Members of the Kauai Seniors golf club voted 21-6 in favor of lowering the age eligibility for the club from 55 years old to 50.
The vote was taken at a meeting held Saturday at the Wailua Golf Course after the club’s third quarter tournament.

Princeville Makai Golf Course hosts 2 PGA pro events
The Makai Golf Course will host two events next week for Hawai‘i’s PGA professionals. The Aloha Section PGA Professional Championship will take place on the Makai Course on Monday and Tuesday. Forty-one Hawai‘i golf professionals are playing in the 36-hole stroke-play event, which features a $12,000 purse. The top three players will qualify to compete in the PGA Professional National Championship next summer at Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico.
The Aloha Section PGA Stroke Play Championship, boasting a $15,000 purse, will take place Monday through Wednesday. The 54-hole event is open to all Aloha Section PGA members and offers three divisions: Championship, Senior (age 50 or older), and Super Senior (age 60 or older).

The Club at Hanalei Bay Resort is now accepting registration for its October Break Tennis and Swim Camp. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. from Oct. 6 to 10.
