HONOLULU — Alex Ching captured the 45th Annual O‘ahu Country Club Men’s Invitational with a final round score of 68 and 54-hole total of 204, 9 under par. David Fink the first-round leader took second place honors with a final round score of 71 and 208 total. Travis Toyama was the only other player to break par over the course of the tournament. Travis fired a 2 under 69, good for a four under par 209 total.
Ching birdied two out of his final three holes to secure the four-shot victory. This was the fourth major win of the summer for Ching — 100th Manoa Cup, Hickam Amateur, Army Open and OCC Men’s Invitational.
Ching is a recent graduate of Punahou School and has accepted a golf scholarship to play at the University of San Diego this fall.
