Public services for mayor July 6

Services for Mayor Bryan Baptiste have been scheduled for Sunday, July 6, at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall in Lihu‘e.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A celebration of his life will immediately follow in the Convention Hall auditorium, according to county officials.

Aloha attire is suggested. Flower delivery to the Convention Hall should be arranged for after 7 a.m. that day.

Baptiste, Kaua‘i’s mayor, died Sunday of a cardiac arrest nine days after undergoing heart bypass surgery.
