The Kaua‘i Job Fair will be held between 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kukui Grove Shopping Center.
This year’s fair will feature Kaua‘i employers with hundreds of job openings ready to be filled. The low Kaua‘i unemployment rate of 3.1 percent gives job seekers leverage to find unique opportunities and meaningful employment, say the event’s organizers.
This is the largest job fair of the year on the island, with many major hotels and businesses participating.
Career development professionals will also provide applicants opportunities to learn about job training resources as well as job search and interview tips. Computer terminals will be on-site to assist with resume writing and online job searching.
The free event is presented by JSEC, the Advisory Committee for the Workwise One Stop Job Center in Lihu‘e. Call 274-3056 for more information.
