The Department of Water will be testing a new water well in Anahola from 8 a.m. today through 8 a.m. Friday. Due to the testing, all existing wells in the area will be shut down.
Although water in the tanks will be available, the supply of water will be limited.
During this period, residents may experience low water pressure and possibly water outages depending on usage and storage in the tanks.
Residents are asked to implement water conservation measures including: refraining from washing cars; reducing outdoor irrigation; and using water wisely indoors and outdoors.
Additional tests are planned for next week. Information will be forthcoming when it is confirmed.
