Police arrested a man on suspicion of driving while intoxicated early yesterday morning after he crashed into a boulder outside of the Lihu‘e police station.
The driver, Lance Marushige, told one of the arresting officers
that when he left Rob’s Good Times Grill on Rice Street, he wanted to take “back roads,” and therefore ended up crashing his Dodge Ram in front of an officer about to begin his shift.
