A series of islandwide meetings has been scheduled for those interested in supporting Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Space is limited, so organizers request those interested to call in advance to reserve a space.
Restaurant meetings require meal purchase. The other meetings are free of charge.
• The Westside meeting will take place at Kaumuakani Neighborhood Center, today at 5 p.m. Call Lyndon Yamane to RSVP at 337-9286.
• The Central meeting will be Friday at 5 p.m. at the Lihue Neighborhood Center. Call John Sydney Yamane at 651-7964.
• The last meeting before Kaua‘i’s Caucus will be held Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. at Wailua Family Restaurant. Call Janice Bond at 639-9201 to RSVP.
The meetings are open to all voters and volunteers for Obama, including those who wish to register for the first time or to change political parties.
