No coach Jones or Brennan for Kaua‘i
University of Hawai‘i head football coach June Jones and quarterback Colt Brennan will not make their Kaua‘i appearances on Sunday.
Jones made a trip to the Mainland earlier this week and Brennan will be attending the Heisman Trophy ceremony on Saturday in New York.
Brennan, who was announced as a Heisman Trophy finalist yesterday, was scheduled to make two appearances with Jones for book signings at the Borders Books, Music and Cafe and J.J.’s Broiler.
Jones was originally scheduled to sign copies of “Hawai‘i Warrior Football: A Story of Faith, Hope, and Redemption,” by J. David Miller, in which Jones provided the forward.
Rescheduled dates will be announced at a later time.
The Club at Hanalei accepting tennis players and swimmers
The Club at Hanalei Bay Resort is now accepting registration for its Winter Break Tennis and Swim Camp.
There is limited enrollment for the camps. There are three sessions available. The first session starts Dec. 24-28, the second session starts Dec. 31 to Jan. 4, and the third sessions starts Jan. 7-11. The camp runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Mokihana Aquatics hosts ‘Learn to Swim’
The Mokihana Aquatics swimming club announced it will host a “Learn to Swim Winter Break” starting Dec. 27. All the information and a swim

The club also reminds those who purchased a tree from any of the members from its Christmas tree fundraiser that the pickup date is scheduled for 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Two Frogs Hugging in Lihu‘e.
The club has already sold all its trees and tomorrow’s pickup is only for those who have pre-purchased trees.
