Bridge club wrap-up

Members of and visitors to the North Shore and Poalua Duplicate Bridge Clubs play every Thursday at Sun Village behind Wilcox Memorial Hospital at 9 a.m.

This is the oldest bridge club on the island, and visitors are always welcome to play.

The club welcomed George and Elaine Petersen, visitors from California.

The Sunrise Club plays each Thursday at the new Princeville Community Center in Princeville promptly at 9 a.m.

The club welcomes North Shore visitors and part-time vacationers.

The Sunset Club plays each Saturday (Open Game) at the Community Building in Princeville across from the library promptly at 1 p.m.

This long-established club is convenient and conducts friendly and competitive play for all island players.

Results for Saturday’s eight-table, 32-player sanctioned event are: North/South — First, Bill and Joanne Georgi; Second, Pat Burgess and Betty Moore. East/West — First, Matt Lund and Doug Wylie; Second, Charlie Herbert and Lolita Horney.

Members of the Ka Haku o Hawaii Bridge Club play the second and fourth Mondays of every month.

The games start promptly at 9 a.m. and visitors are especially welcome.
