Songwriter and artist Danney Ball will present Southern Gospel and contemporary Christian music at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lawa‘i Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Ball is a country and gospel songwriter who lives in Southern California and records in Nashville. With 13 albums of original music, Ball will present the most requested songs from his collection. His lyrics vary from the humorous song, such as “Let’s Give the Devil a Bad Hair Day” to the inspirational title track of his latest CD, “All it Takes,” Ball will relate stories of how and why the songs came to be written.
Ball admits to being a Christian entertainer with a single purpose: to inspire people to want to know more about Jesus Christ.
