At least three holes-in-one popped up at two of Kaua‘i’s golf courses between Nov. 3 and Nov. 11.
Chester Alfiler, a county employee, opened the trio of aces with a hole-in-one on the Wailua Golf Course No. 14 on Nov. 3.
Chester accomplished his feat on the 168-yard hole using his snake eyes 18-degree hybrid club. Witnesses to the event, his second in a 20-year career, include Gerald Alfiler, Glory Luka and Ed Okamoto.
Kyle Parongao of ‘Ele‘ele made a hole-in-one on the Kaua‘i Lagoons Mokihana Course No. 3 on Nov. 10.
Parongao, playing with the Westside Hui, accomplished the ace on the 113-yard hole using a Mizuno pitching wedge.
Witnesses to the ace include Greg Kenney, Paul Ganaden and Scott Kouchi.
A day later, Sheila Davis, employed at the Garden Island Inn, aced the Wailua Golf Course No. 3.
Davis netted her second career ace using her Callaway driver during the weekly Club 36 Golf Club tournament.
Witnesses include Loren Tanigawa, Barbara Vallejos and Kimiyo Navarro.
