Ernest Tomory

Ernest Tomory of Lihu‘e died at West Kauai Medical Center on Sept. 21, 2007, at the age of 92.

Born in Bridgeport, Conn., on July 31, 1915, he was a claims officer with the U.S. Post Office and an avid tennis player.

He is survived by two sons Gerald (Dianne) Tomory of Lawa‘i and Robert (Martha) Tomory of Vicenza, Italy; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
