Hawaiian Tropic and CNN Headline News “Showbiz Tonight” host A.J. Hammer will search for the next Miss Hawaiian Tropic at its 25th annual model search on Sept. 29 on O‘ahu.
Turtle Bay Resort will host women from around the United States, all of whom will vie for the title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic United States 2007.
Winners are selected based on fitness and fashion and they must demonstrate general health and sun care.
Miss Hawaiian Tropic receives cash and prizes and the opportunity to represent the brand in advertising and at promotional opportunities worldwide.
The weeklong festivities begin Sept. 22 leading up to the final show on Sept. 29.
Events include a “Battle of the Beauties” beach challenge, sand castle competition and a Hawaiian lu‘au, during which contestants display costumes that they feel represent their state.
The main event will be filmed by Bennett Productions Inc. and televised as a one-hour special that will broadcast nationwide in the spring of 2008, hosted by Hammer.
Models were selected from hometown searches across the country for the finals. For more information, visit paradise at www.hawaiiantropic.com.
