The American Youth Soccer Organization, Region 940 announced coaches clinics for new and experienced coaches. On Saturday, coaches in the Under 6 and Under 8 divisions will meet from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Island School soccer fields.

On Saturday, coaches in the Under 6 and Under 8 divisions will meet from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Island School soccer fields.
Coaches in the Under 10 divisions will meet Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Island School soccer complex.
The final clinic will be for coaches in the Under 12 division who will meet July 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Island School soccer fields.
Participants should wear sneakers and dress for soccer-related activities.
Lunch and drinks will be provided at all the clinics. All participants will be given soccer-related prizes.

Hanalei Open Water Swim set for Saturday
Namolokama Canoe Club invites keiki and adults to participate in the Hanalei Pier Open Water Swim Saturday.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m. with two age groups starting at 9 a.m.
Keiki swimmers in the 8 and under and 9-12 age groups will hit the water at 9 a.m.
Youth in the 13-18 age group will participate in a 1/2-mile swim, and youth 18 and over will swim for a mile.
Application forms are available at Kai Kane, Hanalei Surf, Kilauea Pharmacy, bike shops and athletic health clubs.
Medals, ribbons, shirts and food will be available for all participants.
