The Gee Unit took both ends of a double-header last night in the 3 G’s Nation boys basketball league.
Dane Bautista and Donovan Harrison combined for 21 points to lead the Gee Unit 13U to a 37-20 win over Hanakila in the opener while Harrison came back in Game 2 for 22 points to lead the Gee Unit 15U squad to a 46-38 showing over Laukona.
Following Bautista and Harrison, Brendon Tillett and Adam Clark finished with 6 points each with Micah Hanano netting 4 points.
Marlon Cudiamat paced the Hanakila effort with 8 points followed by James Stevens and Kawika Wellington each adding 4 points. Elmer Cudiamat finished with 3 points and a digit from James Paik rounded out the Kilauea effort.
Harrison’s game-high 22 points highlighted Game 2 followed by Joe Dosronslet adding 11 points. Thomas Gaspouhl and Clark finished with 8 and 4 points, respectively, and a digit from Bautista rounded out the win.
Cameron Largusa and Paleku Yasay paced the boys-in-black with 11 points each followed by Kekoa Colipano finishing with 9 points. Scot Sasan and Cody Morden finished with 4 and 3 points, respectively.
