The Kaua‘i Polo Club will host its opening day match Sunday at the ‘Anini Beach fields.
Gates for the season opener will open at 1:30 p.m. with the match starting at 3 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, children 12 to 17, $5. Children under 12 are admitted free.

Acob works hard at Garden Isle R/C races
Phillip Acob had to work for his victory in the latest racing series hosted by the Garden Isle R/C Racers over the weekend.
Acob battled with four other drivers in the 4WD nitro sedan B class before emerging as the top driver in the class.
Dennis Ginez topped the 4WD nitro sedan A class and went on to earn Top Qualifiers honor as well.
Following Acob in the B class, Bart Garcia, John Echalar, Randy Alcantara and Ralph Caliboso rounded out the leader board.
Following Ginez in the A class, Dennis Morales, Noel Udaundo, Seth Morales and Dimi Rivera rounded out the leaders.
The next Garden Isle R/C Racers event will be on June 24 at the Wailua off-road track. The first race starts at 10 a.m. and the public is invited.
There is no admission fee.
