The Garden Island corrects errors of fact in news stories. If you notice an error, please contact us at one of the numbers listed below.

• A caption on Sunday’s front page should state Bunji Shimomura served as county clerk for two years. He served in that position from 1996 to 1998.

• A letter printed on Thursday’s Forum page, submitted by Su and Al Haynes of Kapa‘a and entitled “It will hurt,” should state as the last sentence, “Vote a resounding ‘Yes’ on Bill 2203, for the good of us all.”
