The annual hazardous waste collection for residents is scheduled for the weekend of April 28 and April 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the following locations:
? Hanalei and Kapa‘a transfer stations n April 28
? Hanapepe and Lihu‘e transfer stations n April 29
Unwanted hazardous products will be accepted for safe disposal at no charge including: aerosols, anti-freeze, batteries, cleansers, fluorescent bulbs, gasoline, paint thinners, pesticides, solvents and more.
Please note that latex paint is not considered household hazardous waste and will not be accepted.
