People interested in becoming certified track officials should contact Dave Walker at 652-0616.
With the installation of the rubberized track at Vidinha Stadium, there is a need for certified track officials before Kaua‘i can be considered to host a state meet, a spokesman for Walker said.
When a sufficient number of interested people has gathered, Walker will make arrangements for the head of the Track Officials Association to conduct a clinic for certification.
