The KIF champion Kapa‘a High School girls soccer team was awarded the No. 4 seed for Div. II of the Meadow Gold Dairies Girls Soccer State Championship that starts Wednesday.
With the fourth seed, the Warriors earn a bye on opening day and will meet the winner of the Waialua/Mid-Pacific match from Wednesday. The Warriors take the field at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Park Thursday starting at 3 p.m. in its bid for the state title.
Hawai‘i Prep was awarded the No. 1 seed for Div. II followed by Pac-Five No. 2 and the Campbell Sabers No. 3.
Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama was awarded the top seed in Div. I followed by Kapolei getting the second seed. Kekaulike and Konawaena round out the seeding at third and fourth, respectively.
