Seems like this is the time for the media reunion. Jaymes Song (when is Hamura Saimin?) is here as is former TGI sports editor Nick Abramo … he was afraid he was going to miss something Monday. And the AC still hasn’t come in, Chris Carlson (he’s the AP shooter). David Allio will be doing the football game, Friday. Meanwhile, seeing Candy Aluli twice in one month?
Candy was on hand for the Hilton rededication and back here for the PGA event.
Out on the course, Miki Ueoka and Travis Toguchi were both cool under fire and Laurie Yoshida had golf cart duty for Lt. Gov. James “Duke” Aiona who got to play No. 1 through No. 3 holes with Tiger Woods and John Garrity of Sports Illustrated.
Geoff Ogilvy was with Travis and Sam Choy as they came up No. 7.
And, there’s still time to visit Mac McAtee, Ivy Santos and the Po‘ipu Bay Golf Course Pro Shop for holiday apparel with the Grand Slam logo…they’ll have it in the pro shop when the tent goes down.
Congratulations to Jocelyn Barriga and the Special Olympics group for their great Ride, Sunday … Russell Haluapo said the Toys for Keiki ride is coming up Dec. 10 at the historic County Building.
