Nick Mortell and a few Kapa‘a Warrior football players will be back of the McDonald’s counter in Waipouli, Sunday … check them out. This is a preview for when Nick’s picture appears on the McDonald’s package early in 2007 … watch for it. In the meantime, Mark James (was he part of the Larry Rivera group last Friday?) will probably be there, too, so it’s Big Mac time.
Was nice to see Erik Burkman at Kalaheo School for the opera performance Wednesday … yes, the sidewalk on Maka Road is complete, no more ditches and overgrown grass to deal with … even got to meet Gladys Oyama’s puppies.
Congratulations, too, to Kevin Matsunaga’s video class at Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School. They finished the Deja Vu television ad that will debut on Dickie Chang’s Wala‘au program next week. In the meantime, Tad Miura, Jr., Sara Miura, Ann Yamamoto and Curtis Low brought goodies for everyone.
Ernie Domingo was trying to figure out when the ukulele classes with Kenny Rapozo was going to be photographed. The students will be performing at Kukui Grove during the holiday season, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, Gayle Konishi’s memory was triggered so if anyone wants those CKMS fund raising cookies, it’s Aunty Ono cookies! Call the school to order for pick up on Dec. 9.
OK, don’t forget to visit the Special Olympics Ride at the convention hall!
