Congratulations to Chef Martina Hilldorfer for being such a busybody over the weekend.
Despite the busy schedule, she still had time to talk about the action stations they have in the KCC cafeteria — last week it was Pasta Action Station with Grecean Manuel and John Ruiz, Tuesday it was Taco, and she said they have more planned.
Besides the food, you can always check out Wayne Miyata’s Boo!! display featuring works from his students that are hanging on the wall.
John Ullis was getting excited at the dedication of the Unlimited Construction new offices in the Puhi Industrial Park. John was there with his Nikon camera (sounds like a Simon and Garfunkel song) to capture some of the excitement. Congratulations to Peter Robson and Randy Finlay on their new office … and, how inspirational to get to chat with Chucky Boy Chock, who did the dedication of not only the building, but Pa‘a Hana, the new crane that arrived on Kaua‘i Wednesday. Kaleo Smith, Unlimited’s equipment guy, said it was just in time for the Hanalei project.
Barbie Taylor said Don is in Las Vegas so missed out on the celebration … Barbie also made it to the Lydgate Make A Difference Day where she and the kids were on the cigarette butt detail.
Thanks to Pam Brown for making sure that the event was squeezed in before the Kaua‘i High homecoming … congratulations to Rich Jasper for winning that dream football vacation!
Dickie Chang (when was the last time you saw him at a high school football game?) did the honors of pulling the winning name.
