Annette Hashimoto was at the volleyball games and said the reason the lights were out was because she absorbed it all. But Calvin Paleka did a great job by turning on the spotlights on the other side buildings so the gym entrance would have lights.
Hats off to Lynne Nagaoka and her human resources department at the Kaua‘i Marriott for doing such a great job with their benefits fair … Doug Patterson and Darcy Yamamoto of HMSA came down from Honolulu for the event as did Carmel Yee, Lisa Kane and Gayle Lim of Kaiser Permanente … yes, they all had pirate outfits on.
