WAILUA — The Lihu‘e Heat battled to a 3-3 stalemate with Tunda in the latest round of Kaua‘i Soccer Association Seven-a-Side soccer Sunday.
The Lihu‘e Heat game was one of three Under 10 games played at the Wailua Houselots Park. In the second U10 contest, the KSC-Blazing Angels flew past Hawaiian Heat 5-2 while the Tunda Girls were a point better than Na Koa Soccer, 3-2.
The Ha‘aheo Boys split in the Under 8 contests, the Boys being blanked by Ha‘aheo TW, 3-0 before shutting down the Kapa‘a Blaze 3-0.
Ha‘aheo and the Lihu‘e Cougars came up winners in two U12 games, Ha‘aheo getting past Kapa‘a Blaze 1-0 and the Cougars rolling over the Blaze 9-0.
The Lihu‘e Cougars wrapped up another win in the Boys Under 14 division with an 8-2 showing over the Kapa‘a Blaze, while Motiv-8 was an 11-1 winner over Westside United.
The Garden Island Football Club won the Girls Under 14 games with a GIFC 6-1 win over Kulia Lanakila and GIFC-Po‘okela win over BTU 7-6.
The Eastside Girls and GIFC-East battled to a 4-4 stalemate in the Girls Under 18 division.
