After figuring in a close AYSO victory last weekend against Waimea, Farley sparked the Lihu‘e Heat to a 4-3 win over the KSC-Blazing Angels during Kaua‘i Soccer Association Seven-a-side action Sunday at the North Vidinha fields.
Farley finished with two goals, while Keala Iwasaki and Shaedan Tallano each added a score.
Haylei Sheldon-Graham paced the Blazing Angels with a pair of goals and Jordan Taboniar accounted for the third score.
With the win, the Lihu‘e Heat stands at 1-2 in the BU10 division, good for three points. At 3-1, Tunda leads the overall standings with nine points.
The Blazing Angels, despite strong defensive showing, suffered their third loss of the season and remain pointless in the overall standings. Hawaiian Heat (2-1), who suffered its first loss at the hands of Tunda, 1-0, leads the GU10 division with six points.
Ha‘aheo Boys (3-1), also suffering its first loss of the season, 1-0, at the hands of Ha‘aheo Teenie Wahine Sunday, has nine points in the BU8 division.
Ha‘aheo TW tops the GU8 division with nine points with a 3-1 record. Kapa‘a Blaze (0-4) rounds out the GU8 class.
In BU12 action, the division-leading Lihu‘e Cougars fell for the first time Sunday, dropping a 3-1 contest to Ha‘aheo. At 3-1, the Cougars are well ahead of the second-place Kapa‘a Blaze (1-1-1, four points).
After shutting down the Lihu‘e Cougars 7-0 Sunday, Motiv-8 is at the top of the BU14 division with a 3-0 record and nine points. Westside United, taking a 5-3 win over Kapa‘a Blaze Sunday, follows with a 2-1 record and six points. The Lihu‘e Cougars (1-2) and Kapa‘a Blaze (0-3) hold down third and fourth.
Undefeated through Sunday, Ha‘aheo tops the GU12 division with nine points on a 3-0 record after beating the Lihu‘e Cougars 3-1.
After losing to the Cougers 10-2, the Tunda Girls stand at 1-2-1 with four points. Na Koa Soccer (0-4) is in fourth after losing to the Blaze 4-1.
GIFC, undefeated following a 1-0 win over BTU, tops the GU14 division with nine points on a 3-0 record, followed by BTU (1-1-1) with four points. GIFC-Po‘okela, battling to a 2-2 tie with Kulia Lanakila, is now 0-1-2 with two points, one more than Kulia Lanakila (0-2-1).
After edging out Eastside Girls 1-0, the undefeated GIFC-East (3-0) tops the GU18 division. With the loss, the Eastside Girls fall to 0-3.
