Bridge clubs release results

Members of the Ka Haku o Hawaii Bridge Club play the second and fourth Mondays of every month at Hanalei Bay Resort at 9 a.m. Members and guests meet at 8 a.m. to have breakfast and visit. For playing partners or additional information, call Jane Nearing Go at 826-9753.

Winners for last Monday’s Howell movement were Sue Giarman and Hank Goldstein in first, Lenda Helser and Susan Worth in second and Jane Nearing Go and Steve Angelone.

Members of the North Shore and Poalua Bridge Clubs meet every Thursday at Sun Village behind Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihu‘e at 9 a.m. This is the oldest bridge club on the island and visitors are always welcome to play.

In Thursday’s five-table Howell movement game, Lenda Helser and Asa Shibata finished first, Lil Riley and Deborah Byrnes finished second and Al and Patty Ficker finished third.

The Sunrise Duplicate Bridge Club plays each Thursday at the Church of the Pacific Hall in Princeville at 9 a.m.

The Sunset Duplicate Bridge Club plays each Saturday at the Church of the Pacific Hall in Princeville at 1 p.m. This long-established club conducts friendly and competitive play for all island players.
