Speaking of Kylie, he’ll be back on the gridiron when KIF football starts later this month. His dad Kelvin was busy when Judy Lenthall was talking about the new senior produce program at the Kaua‘i Food Bank earlier this week.
Golf is in the air at King Auto Center… Mary Bea King and Charlie King were going over the registration forms with John Gillespe for Anna Sloggett’s 100th birthday invitational scholarship tourney coming up Sept. 9 and outside on the sales floor, forms were available for the Rotary Club of Kalepa Sunrise tournament … call Sharron Weber on this one. Sam Pratt is the contact for the Anna Sloggett tourney. The scholarship golf tournament is only the start of a series of celebrations for Anna Sloggett’s great event … stay tuned.

Finally had a chance to catch up with Marina Octavio after watching her and Zack do loco mocos at the PMRF July Fourth celebration … Zack dropped in at Kukuiolono Golf Course with John Hrabovsky who’s working with Zack to upgrade the American Medical Response systems here … and then, that afternoon, it was time to check out the Octavio ‘ohana who are involved with the Koloa Pop Warner Association … Sept. 2: Pop Warner Jamboree!
