Kawakami aces Wailua’s 17th hole

Lihu‘e’s Charles Kawakami carded a hole-in-one on Tuesday at the Wailua Golf Course’s 17 hole (173 yards) using a 3-wood.

Kapa‘a Pop Warner registration

Kapa‘a Pop Warner is having registration signups now through August 1.

Applications and instructions are available at Waipouli Variety Store.

Registration collection will be every Wednesday in July at the Kapa‘a Armory Park and Pavilion from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

For families wanting to get an early start on fundraising for travel, tickets will be offered at each registration day in July.

There’s also a general membership meeting at the Kapa‘a Armory Park and Pavilion on July 19 at 7 p.m.

Ho‘ola Lahu‘i Hawai‘i is providing free physicals for KPWA youth participants who are in need.

Physicals will be done on July 12 at 1 p.m. at a location to be announced.

Mokihana Aquatics looks to

serve North Shore residents

Mokihana Aquatics is now serving the areas from Kapa‘a and on to the North Shore at the Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center pool on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

North Shore Pop Warner registration

The NSPWA is looking for tackle/cheer participants within the ages of 8 to 15 years for the 2006 season.

Registration will be held at the Kilauea Field near the Gym from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the following dates Tuesday (6/27, 7/11, 7/18) and Thursday (7/6, 7/13, 7/20).

KIF volleyball needs officials

The Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation is currently recruiting individuals interested in learning high school volleyball officiating skills in order to help with officiating KIF JV and Varsity volleyball contests.
