Season tickets for the 2006 University of Hawai‘i football season go on sale Monday when fans will be offered eight home games at the same price as the seven-game package in 2005 and the online conveniences of UH’s new digital ticket system.
This state-of-the-art ticket system provides fans the ability to buy, sell, transfer, and print their tickets online through HawaiiAthletics.com and to manage their ticket accounts from the convenience of their home or office computer.
Fans purchasing season tickets online will continue to receive their ‘hard’ tickets in the mail.
However, this year, a digital bar code will be added to each ticket, allowing season-ticket holders to transfer or re-sell their tickets online through HawaiiAthletics.com. These services will begin in August, after season tickets have been mailed.
In addition to purchasing season tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com, fans can visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., or call 944-2697 during the same hours.
The Warrior football team opens the 2006 home season against Mountain West Conference foe UNLV on Sept. 16, two weeks after the season opener at Alabama. The home schedule also features non-conference match-ups against Eastern Illinois (Sept. 30), Purdue (Nov. 25) and Oregon State (Dec. 2), along with Western Athletic Conference (WAC) opponents Idaho (Oct. 28), Louisiana Tech (Nov. 11), and San Jose State (Nov. 18).
