• In the ‘Ohana page feature “Kama‘aina Voices” that ran on April 26, Judy Emmett was asked if she had family here. She replied she had one son living here on Kaua‘i. She also has another son, Todd Sangster, who resides in Woodland Hills, Calif.
• In Sunday’s article on the Superferry, The Garden Island reported that Terry O’Halloran left NOAA’s Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council to join Hawaii Superferry. In fact, O’Halloran serves as both a public affairs officer for the Superferry and the chairman of SAC. Superferry officials said the ferries will be able to carry 866 passengers and 282 cars at 40 mph.
