KALAHEO — Mahea Hanie-Grace finished with 11 points to lead the G Nation to a 32-28 showing over the Minihunes as the Boys & Girls Club, Waimea Clubhouse hosted the first of three refereed games in the Extreme Termite division Wednesday night.
Christian Cadawas-Tanicala aided the G Nation win on 7 first quarter points.
Jazzelyn Bradbury led the Minihune shooting with 9 points and Sanida Pahalehua finished with 8 points, including a 6-for-8 showing at the free throw line.
Christin Garma, Brandon Palacio, and Cy Corona each finished with 8 points to lead the yellow-shirted Westside Ballers to a 25-18 win over the Kamikaze in the second game.
Corona and Garma racked up a pair from beyond the 3-point arc in their tallies.
Larry Lucas and Courtney Contrades each finished with 6 points for the Minihune effort.
Christian “Kele” Hanohano finished with a game-high 11 points to lead Kaulupono to a 29-20 win over the Kalaheo Tigers in the finale, Hanohano coming off the bench to rack up 7 points in the second half.
Searra Kaohi finished with 6 points, and Paul Jeffery Oligo added 4 points in the white-shirt win.
Shawn Tavares led the Tigers with 7 points followed by Casen Kaohelaulii adding 5 in the effort.
