Swimmers who performed well at states included Kaua’i’s Keenan Anaya and Jarred Perry, along with Island’s Ben Baldwin.
The KIF recently released its 2006 swimming all-stars, which were listed by event.
The top individuals and teams who won at the KIF championships were given all-star recognition.
Multiple winners were Anaya, Kaua’i’s Meaghan Sims, Perry, Baldwin, Kaua’i’s Aaron Ramelb, Kula’s Wailana Waite, Kapa’a’s Jackie Brady, Kaua’i’s Kyson Gusukuma, Island’s Michelle Woltmon, and Kaua’i’s Kelsey Tanaka.
Other athletes on the all-star squad include Kaua’i’s Torrey Ikeda, Briana Albano, and Casie Ford, along with Kula’s Alanna Reynolds, Kapa’a’s Magen Grooms, Marla Bendor, and Camille Brady.
Also, Kaua’i’s Tyson Chihara, Noah Murray, Russell McCluskey, Trisha Lamay-Mcvay, Mary Tousend, and Matthew Ross all earned high distinctions.
