The Performing Arts Scholarship Competition will be held April 5, in the Lihue United Church parish hall at 10:30 a.m., and encompasses voice, musical instrumentation, dance and theater.
Since the establishment of the competition, $79,200 has been granted to 52 students.
The scholarship application, along with other requirements outlined in the application, must be postmarked by midnight, March 4.
The Mokihana Club members raise funds for their Performing Arts Scholarships with a Christmas Gala Luncheon and other donations from individuals.
Their newly-established nursing scholarships are funded exclusively by the club’s Women’s Golf Scramble, to be held this year on April 22 at Kauai Lagoons.
