• Advance of $50,000 for a community- facilities district Kukui‘ula Development Company Hawaii LLC leaders are proposing at their 1,000-plus acre resort, commercial and residential project at Kukui‘ula in Po‘ipu;
• Request to have processed agricultural goods such as honey and goat cheese sold at the county-sponsored Sunshine Markets;
• Request to use up to $100,000 to hire special counsel to represent county leaders in a lawsuit Sharon and William McCulley have brought against County of Kaua‘i officials;
• Resolution asking members of the state Legislature to authorize leaders in the state Department of Transportation Harbors Division to impose and collect fees on international passenger cruise-ship arrivals, and those aboard the Hawaii Superferry, to develop and fund drug-interdiction and invasive-species- prevention programs;
• Resolution authorizing a performance audit of the Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division;

• Excursion to the North Shore to view areas of community interest identified through a community-input process, and to become familiar with coastal and cultural resources in the area. Some of the spots are Kauapea Road in Kilauea, the Wainiha Stream mouth sand bar, accesses along Alealea Road in Ha‘ena, Ke‘e Beach Park, Black Pot Beach in Hanalei Bay, Secret Beach West, Kahili Beach in Kilauea, and Oama Point in ‘Aliomanu. Commission members will not make any decisions on the sites they visit.
