Lunchtime at the mall on a Friday is good for catching up with people, especially if the wind is blowing. Melanie Kalauawa was between the dips in the chocolate fountain brought over by Nicole Nonaka of the Kaua‘i Marriott Resort & Beach Club for the Eleele School Career Day, but had time to remind people of the Kalaheo Missionary Church’s rummage sale that opens its doors at 8 a.m. Saturday.
