Traffic is subject of Koloa meeting
Barbara Pendragon, a planner for the County of Kaua‘i Planning Department, and Greg Kamm, representing Regency Development, discuss traffic impacts of the Historic Koloa Village project at a meeting of the Koloa Community Association Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Koloa Neighborhood Center.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
The speakers will discuss needed improvements to improve traffic circulation on Koloa Road and Weliweli Road as the Historic Koloa Village project comes on-line, especially at the Koloa Road and Weliweli Road intersection, said a Koloa Community Association spokesperson in a press release.
Election of officers and directors will also take place.
Hongwanji services scheduled
On Sunday, at 9 a.m., the Rev. Midori Kondo of the Lihue Hongwanji Mission discusses “Changes: Do We Like Change?” at the Family Dharma Service, at the temple on Kuhio Highway in Kapaia.
On Jan. 29, at 10 a.m., a Family Dharma Service will take place.
Kondo is the speaker, and a New Year’s Party follows.
