Co-sponsored by the County of Kaua’i and Hawaiian Airlines, Yagi’s clinic was open to boys and girls ages 17 years old and younger.
Players in the 14 and Under age group were invited to take part in the clinic that ran from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Boys and girls in the 17 and Under division were invited to the session that ran from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A special coaches clinic followed from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event was part of the county’s Drug Free Program.
After taking in the KIF basketball game the night before the clinics, Yagi and his staff broke down the game and highlighted areas of improvment for both squads.
The Yagi clinic has been making its rounds throughout the islands and usually stops on Kaua’i in early January.
