PUHI — Youngsters from strollerage to 16 are asked to prepare for the annual youth run that will take place on Saturday, Jan. 21 on the grounds of the Kilohana Estate in Puhi.
The East Kaua’i Y’s Men/YMCA will be celebrating their 23rd year of hosting this event which features a fun way to introduce youngsters to the value of running as a form of exercise.
Additionally, courses that provide enough challenge for high school runners are available.
Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. on race day with the run starting at 8 a.m.
Prizes and refreshments will be available for everyone.
Runners have an opportunity to win one of two bicycles which will be given away following the race.
