KAUA’I AND HAWAI’I BY THE NUMBERS

• Hotel occupancy on Kaua’i dropped in October of this year, to 75.8 percent from 80.1 percent in October of last year, according to information from the professionals at Hospitality Advisors. Kaua’i occupancy rates were down for the first 10 months of this year, to 78.9 percent, compared to the same period last year (80.6 percent), though average daily room rates and revenue per available room rose for both the month of October and the first 10 months of this year, compared to the same periods last year (please see more below).
