Following Saturday’s play, one Kaua’i team holds a 3-1 record at the 12th annual Mililani 7-A-Side Tournament being played on O’ahu.
Tournament play began Friday with approximately 10 Kaua’i teams joining the 117-team tournament field.
The Tornados swept their Friday games, 8-1 over the Powder Edge SC, and 3-1 over the riggers BU10 ’95 White.
On Saturday, the Tornados picked up their third win on a 4-0 shutout over Hawai’i rush Talaria before falling to Real HFC 97B, 2-1.
The Lihu’e Cougars, Tunda Girls (GU14), and Kulia Lanakila sport 2-1 records following play on Saturday, and Ha’aheo is 1-1-1.
Lihu’e Remix are 1-2, Po’okela is 0-1-1, with the Eastside Hoku, 0-3, and the KSC-Blazing Angels, a first-time team in the Under 10 bracket, 0-4.
The tournament wrapped up Sunday, Nov. 27.
