Jayda Maire Kawelolani Mundon of Kapa’a, died Nov. 11, 2005, at Lucille Parard Children’s Hospital in California at the age of 2 1/2.
Born Dec. 28, 2002, in Lihu’e, she is survived by her mother: Jamie Mundon, father: Shane Wada, brother: Ka’eo Duncan Mundon, grandparents James and Annette Mundon and Calvin and Jan Wada; great-grandfather: Abraham Mundon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, at Kapa’a First Hawaiian Church where services will be at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary
Kimie Kanemaru
Kimie Kanemaru of Lihu’e died at home on Nov. 23, 2005, at the age of 90.
Born in Olokele, on June 3, 1915, she was the owner of Lihue Fishing Supply.
She is survived by two sons; Dr. Sanford (Nana) Kamezawa of Honolulu, Edwin (Sharyn) Kanemaru of California, one daughter, Jean (Glenn) Nakamura of Lihu’e, two sisters; Kazue Kawamoto, Sueko (Harris) Takiguchi, both of Lihu’e, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her devoted dog “Pugsley”and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday, Nov. 28, at Lihue Christian Church from 3 p.m. with services beginning at 4 p.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home
