The sophomore went into Friday’s game against Nebraska with 50 total tackles, good for fifth on the team, but Dizon has played in less plays than the top four tacklers.
The inside linebacker averages about five tackles a game is third on the team in sacks with three.
As a team, the Buffs could clinch the Big 12 North title with a win over the Cornhuskers on Friday.
If the Buffs win, it would be their fourth Big 12 North Division title in five years and they will earn a trip to Houston to face No. 2 Texas in the league championship game on Dec. 3 (8 a.m. Hawai’i time).
Colorado enters the game against Nebraska with a 7-3 mark, 5-2 in league play, while the Cornhuskers are 6-4 (3-4 conference action).
