Mitchell F. Quinones of Kapa’a, died Oct. 3, 2005, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 60.
Born March 16, 1945, in Lihu’e, he was an electrician for the state of Hawai’i.
Preceded in death by his father Frank Quinones, he is survived by his wife, Charlene Quinones; daughter, Shelley Quinones; son, Kenji Quinones; mother, Haruko Quinones; sisters: Beverly (Manuel) Ang, Linda Quinones, Irene (Arnold) Ujimori, Doris (Peter) Ng; two brothers: Frank (Flo) and James Quinones; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests aloha attire and asks that flowers be omitted.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa, where memorial services will be held at 10 a.m..
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Isabella R. Silva
Isabella R. Silva of Kapa’a, died Sept. 26, 2005, at Straub Hospital at the age of 77.
Born May 7, 1928, in Kapahi, she was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, William I. Silva, she is survived by seven children: Naomi (Manuel) Emproso, William S. Silva, Diane (Don) Okuno, Dean (Glenda) Silva, Leila (Julian) Fernandez-Cardoso; Jewel (Solomon) Kalima, and Daniel K. Silva; 17 grandchildren, 15 great grand-children; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kaua’i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary
