Coach Mac of the Westside Wrestling Club is foaming at the mouth to unveil a piece of history in Waimea today.
The group is hosting Kaua‘i’s first-ever wrestling tournament at Waimea High School’s gym.
The USA Wrestling sanctioned tournament will feature wrestlers of all ages, inlcuding Kekaha’s Brandon Livingston.
“I’m excited and I’m going to kick some ass,” Livingston said.
Now in his 18th year on the mat, Livingston also mentioned that his younger brother, Dakota Kreutzer is also ready to rumble.
“I love wrestling because I’ve done it my whole life, plus it’s a family,” Livingston said.
At 10 a.m., fans will be witness to a momentous occasion on Kaua‘i.
