Visitors and local residents are invited to spend the day enjoying the Paniolo competition at the 6th Annual Koloa Plantation Days Rodeo, beginning at noon on Sunday, July 31.
The location is the CJM Country Stables arena down Po‘ipu Road about a mile past the Grand Kaua‘i Hyatt Resort and Spa.
In addition to the fast rodeo action, there’ll be special fun this year for the keikis, a “Catch the Baby Goat Scramble” contest for children 5-7 years of age.
Visitors will also get a chance to mingle with the island’s top paniolos.
There will also be bullfighter clowns keeping the bullriders safe and happy, not to mention keeping the action light hearted as well.
The rodeo is one of the County of Kaua‘i and Hawai‘i Tourism Authority’s special events.
Admission is a donation of $1 per person to benefit the Kaua‘i YMCA.
