KEKAHA – A 20-year-old local male was assaulted at PolihaleState Park early Sunday morning while walking back to his vehicle after a party.

The victim suffered head injuries and required stitches to his lip area. He was treated at Kaua‘i Veterans’ MemorialHospital and released.
