Marc Veneri doubled to right field to start the second and eventually scored on Sean Tamura’s sacrifice fly for a 3-0 lead.

The game was tied after the second when the Vulcans tallied three runs on three hits and a Sea Warrior error. A fielder’s choice and singles by Ryan Taiariol and Gary Ahu drove in the runs.
The Vulcans took a two-run lead in the fifth on Johnny Dudoits bases loaded sacrifice fly and Crider’s RBI single.
HPU came back to tie the game in the sixth on three hits and one Vulcan error.
In the first extra inning, Vulcan pitching gave up four walks after the Sea Warriors took a one point lead which eventually, combined with three hits, expanded to a 10-5 lead.
The Vulcans got one run back in the eight on Chu’s sacrifice fly.
Ahu lead the Vulcans with three hits. Tamura and Dudoit added a pair each.
